Anyone going on the Power Tour this year? It runs from Kansas City to Bowling Green with stops in IA, IL, IN along the way. We will be making the first 3 stops (Kansas City, Newton IA, Davenport IA) this year. We will also be going a day early so we can participate in the show for the local Veterans at the VA Hospital. Who will we see on Tour? Everyone should go at least once, it's quite a spectacle!

Had a good time in Kansas City at the start of the Power Tour with Loren, Dan A., and John E. We saw many Buicks but so far only one 65 GS and that's Dans! Cruise to Newton in the morning!
-
Definitely having a great time. Jim has done quite a few of these and is treating us first timers well.
Thanks Jim, Dan

I see on the Hot Rod site there is another 65 GS here, red with white top. Maybe see it in person tomorrow.

Two suspiscious charachters in this car spotted following us on the Power Tour. (Later identified as Dan A. and Loren.) Dans 65 GS performed great even though we encountered unseasonably hot temperatures! Great time!

Unseasonably warm as in 90 degrees with a bunch of humidity. Picture was taken as we crawled along for 45 minutes because of one stop sign. Argh ! Car ran great. Good time was had despite the aggravation.
Thanks Jim,
Dan

Saw a lot of other Buicks. Here's a couple (in case some love the long roofs)😀

That sounds like a good idea. Wouldn't necessarily have to be the HRPT.

Could not imagine having a manual tranny car at that point on the tour.
Your old car performed great Tom. Never missed a beat. :hello:
Hope you are mending well and will be back at it soon.

Glad to hear your car performed so well. It's a testament to what you and Loren did after my time with it.
I got caught in a traffic cluster while on my way to BPG the year I drove it. My left leg got one heck of a workout that morning. :BangHead:
Hopefully I can start walking short distances in 3-4 weeks.
-
Hang in there Tom. You'll be walking around Lambeau before you know.
