Does anyone know if or where to get the body mount bolts ?
I took the bolts out to get ready to lift the body off and the back 4 bolts are in pretty bad shape . looking for the correct bolts .

I bought a bushing kit from Inline Tube a couple years back. If I remember correctly the bolts were very close to original. Search the site for additional information in regards to the bushings themselves.

Hi John,
AMK has them. I haven't confirmed that they are absolutely correct, but if not, they must be real close. Page 29 in their catalog, PN B-11629 for two bolts @ $5 or PN B-11630 for six bolts @ $12. These are 7/16-14 x 2 5/8.

If you want absolute originals, I might be able to harvest a few from my parts car. If interested, let me know and I'll crawl under there before the snow comes again. If I can get them loose, you can have them.

Ground Up, www.396.com (http://www.396.com) has a decent bolt kit. They won't have the correct head markings or pointed ends, but they do have flanged bolt heads like the originals. Only $21.95 for the convertible set (required for a Buick coupe, hardtop, or conv).

The complete body mount/bolt kits are a good value as well. $62 for mounts and bolts, presently on sale:

I've heard the Inline tube sets are nice too. $28 for the 20 pc bolt/washer set.
AMK would have the closest to originals. It's your call if they're worth the extra money for something that is near impossible to see.

Another source is Ames Performance - the GTO folks. Their part number S382BG has 14 flanged head pointy end bolts and washers for $65.

Thanks guys for the input . I think i,ll give the ones from ames a try .
Like Walt said , they are pretty hard to see and the ones in the worst shape were the ones behind the wheel .
