Looks like someone already upgraded to a dual master-cylinder. I wonder what those front seats came out of?
-
What a small world. I used to own it. Bought it in 2013 and after a lot of refurbishing and detailing sold it in 2014 to a person in Ohio. Then last year that person sold it at Mecum’s spring Indianapolis auction. Sale price at Mecum was $27,000 before buyers fees and transportation to Wisconsin.
It’s a nice solid car. In 2014 it was driven from Green Bay to Minneapolis and back for the Spring Extravaganza. As far as I know the car has no issues. The front seats are Procar’s. Good firm seats with recliners. The originals had badly deteriorating foam but they went with the car when I sold it.
Any questions just shoot me a PM.

Dan, I thought yours was a Gran Sport!

Nice car! How much work did you put into it, Dan? Did you do the dual master cylinder upgrade?

The Procar seats look OK in there and almost match the 65 interior. They sure are better to sit on!

A lot of work. Fixing all the things that go wrong with an old car, cleaning, detailing, buffing - you know, the usual stuff. Yes I did the brake booster and the master cylinder upgrade. New exhaust too. The car was absolutely filthy when it arrived at my house.

Those seats are a pretty close match aren’t they ? Quite comfortable too.
The Grand Sports are even more rare than the crooked sail panel emblem cars.

Very nice work Dan. First thing I noticed was the exhaust. Were did you get it from?

Thanks Kevin. It has a Gardner exhaust on it. Turbo mufflers. Pretty pricey. Another good exhaust system is Waldron. They are located in Centerville, MI.
