Title: Windshield Wiper Hose
Post by: 1971 on August 10, 2015, 07:12:26 PM
I'm new to the Buick world and in the process of restoring a 1965 Gran Sport.  The car came with "2-speed wiper motor with washer".  The car is missing the washer bottle and all the wiper hoses.  Could one of you 65 GS experts (I've seen many on this Website) tell me what diameter wiper hose the GS came with; 7/64, 5/32, 7/32, & 1/4 ?
                               thanks
                               Richard

Dear Richard, Dan, and mid-60s Buick fans,

Thanks for the reference.  I'll need to cobble together a mix of factory and generic parts for my wagon, but this might still be worth buying as a start.

Have you located a washer bottle?  If not, Fusick makes a reproduction tank for the Oldsmobile that is identical to the Buick.  They are on sale on Fusick's eBay store:

On eBay they are $38 when in the regular Fusick catalog they go for $55.

Best of luck restoring your GS Richard!

Cheers, Edouard

I bought two washer bottles from Fusick last month. They are very well done.

Dan, Edouard, and Rollaround,
Thanks for your answers on "Q&A" regarding the Wiper Hose and Washer Bottle.  I got a long ways to go on the 65 GS (its' my wife's car) and I want to do the restoration right,

thanks
Richard

Thanks for the measurement (7/64) on the wiper hose.
