All

I don't personally know anything about this show or combination of shows but the BCA Great Lakes region is involved and they are talking about celebrating the 50th Gran Sport Anniversary. They also have an interesting picture of 100 6 foot tall trophy's. It's been a while since I heard of needing a trailer to get the gold home.

Anyone local know much about this? It sounds like it could be an opportunity to get some 65 Gran Sport cars out and show them off.

The show is in Dublin Ohio (Columbus Area) and will be held July 10-11 this year. Friday is a cruise in judged car show with judging starting at 10:00 am. Judging goes on all day. At 7pm they have a 60's band and during their break they give out the 100 6ft.  trophies. The judges pick the cars they like, not just the best cars. Last year there was around 1,000 cars on Friday. On Saturday, the cars are placed by make, with each having a judged show. that is where the Buick chapter gets involved setting up each class of Buick ranging from the early years to present. The chapter also judges the cars with 3 awards per class given. In total last year there were over 2,500 cars at the Saturday show. The day ends with another band playing at 7pm. This year the GS will be one of the cars honored. I have been to this show for the past 4 years and not miss it. Oh, by the way, I have 2 of those 6 footers, one with the 65 GS and one with the 68 GS California. Go on line to Arthritiscarshow.com for more info.
