Title: convertible trim screws
Post by: Robk on June 05, 2015, 09:58:22 AM
I just had the  rear trim around my convertible top polished and fixed.  It only took three vendors but they finally look good.  The screws that I previously used were not great.  I was wondering if anyone has a photo of the correct screws for the corners on this trim and/or any easy source for these screws.,

Thanks Rob

Hi Rob,

I think this is the screw that you need. It has a special snap cap for the boot. There are two at the corners on the stainless steel trim. And there are two more in the rear seat area that are screwed into the vinyl covered partition that covers the convertible top frame hinges. I believe that Ames Performance has them. H107 or H107C.

Ames is sending them next day air.  Thanks John.
