So I'm out of town this past weekend with the family (missing the extravaganza...GRRRRRR....) and cruising Craigslist for parts. I type in 'Buick' under parts and away I go. I see an ad for a 'Buick hot rod'. I'm intrigued, so I click...
It's a '67 GS. She's rough, but I'm not seeing a lot of rust.
But the ad doesn't mention a year or that it's even a GS. Holy crap - do they not know what they have? My palms got sweaty. I'm 200 miles away and not leaving for 2 days. The ad was up for 17 hours by then, maybe it'll still be there!
2 hours later the ad is pulled.
Damn.

Been There!
Last year on craigslist was a 401 nailhead out of a 1965 Buick Gran Sport coded LR for $800.00, less than 100 miles from home. By the time I saw it and responded to the ad, I was third in line. Needless to say the ad was deleted shortly afterwards
