Title: I noticed my car has a woodgrain dash.....

...anyone else have this?  it is faded and looks original.   I have not seen another like this.   
Thoughts?

My dash is not wood-grained there, it is black, with a rough surface finish; kind of hard to see from this picture, but best one I've got.  I've never seen this listed as an option, I'm wondering if somebody added this after the fact.

Hi Jeff,

I'm pretty sure that someone added that woodgrain on top of the original dash. Like Keith said, it should be painted black over the die cast metal that has a bumpy texture.

Hi,

I parted out a 4 door years ago with the same thing, wood grain even on the horn cross bar of a deluxe wheel but never gave it much thought

so maybe it was a option or they both shopped at a contact paper suply store
