Dear mid-60s Buick "parts hounds,"
There is a 1965 Buick A-body hood ornament on eBay right now:

I think I recognize the handle of the seller. It is a fellow on V-8 Buick who has had lots of 1965 parts for many years.
It isn't in too bad shape as is and would be an excellent candidate for rechroming and painting:

Looks like the piece the nut screws on is broken. Used some sort of screw to secure it. Not worth the money. Be careful on these listings, they don't show you the whole piece. I have been burned before.
