Calling all electrical guru's. Have no brake lights in the convertible I am restoring. No rear turn signals either. Rear lights work. Front turn signals and lights work. Have power to the green wire that connects to the brake light switch. New brake light switch. Got the turn signal on one side to work once. Turned on opposite blinker and nothing. Back to the working side and now it doesn't work.
Is there a ground wire in the rear of the car I am missing ? Oh yeah, fuel gauge reads empty too. Not much gas in it but not empty either.
Tips and directions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Start at the fuse box where the 2 plugs enter at the firewall. Mine had allot of corrosion and needed serious cleaning. Then check the connection under the rear seat where the wire harness runs from the fuse box.
