My GS came radiator-less. If anyone one has an extra they'd like to sell or knows of a source, please let me know.
As always, ...Thanks

Rob,sorry i can't help you but you need to let everyone know if it's with or without A/C.
-
If you need a non-AC one, I have two that can be made into one--needs the tank taken off one with a bad core an put on the other one. Just haven't gotten around to taking it to a shop to be done.

I'm using a Griffin aluminum radiator in one of my cars. It's a universal fit for a 70's Ford and fits perfectly in a GS. It does not have a built-in cooler for an auto trans. Cost was about $200 at the time.
-
Sorry. I should have clarified. My car has no AC. Brian, I'll shoot you a PM.
Thanks

I have the Jegs universal for 179.00 in my 65.
-
Hey Joe, do you have a part# or link for the JEGS one you are using?
Thank you,
Gary

Gary, You'll need a universal radiator for a Ford since they have the same inlet/outlet locations as our Nailheads. Joe chose to put a 455 in his 65 Lark. :violent1:
I bought one from Griffin. It doesn't have a built-in auto trans fluid cooler or a drain petcock or bung for one. I only used it for the break-in run for the fresh Nailhead. Stayed at 160 degrees the whole time. I'll be driving the car soon.
I'll look up the pn and take some pics if you'd like some.

I'll get you that number tomorow.

Old thread but Walt do you have pictures or an update on your Griffin radiator? I wasn't on here back then Rob but I have some radiators.

Rob, I do have an original "Harrison" stamped crossflow rad. It was re cored about 20 yrs ago with a 4 row core. It is for a non A/C automatic. It developed a leak in the core and I yanked it out about 8 yeas ago and put a Summit Aluminium rad and SPAL electric fan in. So if you or anyone else needs an original rad let me know.
