This one probably falls in the "dumb question" category, but here goes.....
Now that Doug at Buick Farm is offering new motor mounts, how does one determine if they are needed? Is there a simple criteria, or are these cars old enought that we should "Just Do It!"?
Thanks,
Chuck

CHUCK,
THAT WILL BE A PERSONAL CHOICE TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION IF THEY LOOK DRY ROTTED, CRACKED OR SAGGED.
ALSO ARE YOU DOING A RESTORATION OR ENGINE REBUILD AS THESE ARE TO BE CONSIDERED TOO.

Thanks Doug. I'm doing both engine rebuild and car restoration. Probably should add mounts to my parts list, eh?
Cheers!

Or have yours revulcanized - might be cheaper if you already have mounts. Steele rubber did mine and I am very happy with them.
