I've searched and haven't found what I'm looking for. Which back seats were interchangable with the 2dr coupe skylark? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the conv. were smaller so that's out. But what about the special or a 4dr? Thanks in advance. Mike.

Mike,
The 2 door sedan is the longest . The hardtop is the next shortest and the convertable is the shortest.
I haven't owned a 4 door or wagon so I'm not sure if they would work . I would think that the 4 door and wagon would have rounded corners unlike the square corners of the sedan and coupe.

Only seat that will fit is one out of a 2dr. HT 4-dr. seats are rounded on the corners to allow easier access to the rear seat and are much longer.

Thanks guys. Unfortuanately that narrows down my options but saves me some future problems. Thanks, Mike.

To add to that, the seats out of a special 2-dr. would be a sedan/post car, which is a different seat. The only car you could get in a 2dr. HT in '65 was the Skylark, so you have to find one out of either a Skylark or Skylark GS 2dr. HT. The seat out of a '64 Skylark 2dr. HT is the same, just a different grain in the vinyl, but that doesn't matter if you are having it covered anyway.

Great info. Now I know why I asked the question here, accurate info. Thanks everyone. Mike. P.S. Anyone live near Wisconsin that has a decent one to sell?
