Title: air cleaner top emblem
Post by: elwood1950 on December 21, 2014, 02:52:16 PM
Need to replace my emblem on the air cleaner. its says buicl on the top and wildcat 445 on the bottom. It's about 131/2 inches across. Mine is worn and would like to replace it. any sites you know to find one? Thanks in advance, Bill in Arizona.

Loren, that's the sticker/decal version. You can get the nice silk screened on aluminum version from CARS:

Is the CARS label embossed like the original?

The originals weren't embossed. The red & black graphics were silkscreened onto a thin sheet of aluminum.
This is how the ones available from CARS are done. Correct & look original.

Bill, that's just a plastic sticker. The originals were aluminum disks.
The correct reproductions from CARS are MUCH nicer, well worth the extra $20.
