Found these online, just received them today. Nice foil tri-shield that fits perfectly in the hood ornament. Could make that dull and weathered shield look new again.

Looks nice, where did you get this?
-
Have to look, I ordered parts from several vendors. Let me check the invoice.
-
Did they have the other side?

This was actually listed for the seat belt, so it would only be the one side. Better than what I have.

CARS has them listed, pn D418, $3.75 each. Nice find!!!

I think I might contact them and suggest they talk to their vendor. I know someone made them before.

WOW! What a discovery!
Not only could it rescue our hoot ornament predicament but it might be a really neat way to add the Tri-Shield to other things we might be "adding" to our cars. I know that originality is s big deal on this forum, but there are times when we want something that Buick didn't have at the time, but can be tastefully added to good advantage. My wagon has bench seats and while I may go with bucket seats someday, I'm pondering a saddle console for the meantime. A Tri-Shield emblem on a custom built console would go a long way to make it look like Buick should have included it in 1965!
Thanks for the discovery! :hello2:
Cheers, Edouard

Weird, this is what they show in their catalog:

That is the primary direction that this forum leans along with it got started because of a persons interest in the '65 Gran Sport, but that is not the sole purpose of 65GS.com.
I and others here just love cars and Buicks have become a sort of passion. Restored, modded, customized or what ever.
Since there is no cure, I feel we are more of a support group and I hope some encouragement along the way.
