Bobby
Your car is still looking really good.
I'm sorry I won't be able make the BPG get together in Norwalk
It's just to close to the BCA Nationals for me living in Minnesota
I know there are several really good 65 GS in that part of the country so I hope we have a good showing for the 50th.
Be sure to get some picture and share.

Good show, well run, organized, great people and some very nice cars!
Good showing of 65GS cars I don't have a count as I was cast off to the grassy knoll in my Special. Bobby and Glenn's cars looked great parked at stage center with the GS herd. It was the first time I've seen Bobby's post car in person after following his resto; it is very impressive, his exceptional attention to detail shows and he has some great restoration stories. It also help me gain some idea as to what it's should look like under a 65 GS hood.

I was also in attendance. Met Harle Cordill and his wife (forget her name, D'oh) with their beautiful 65.
Bob had some issues with wheel studs, so I really didn't get the chance to properly introduce myself. Hint, I was the big guy sitting in my chair, saving your other parking spot, talking to your wife, while guys you went for new wheel studs.
Rollaround, I checked out your stunning Special too. Amazing attention to detail which had some of the major Buick players keenly interested.
Rough count had over 100 cars in the show Saturday. Tom from Cleveland had his mostly original 65 convert as well. There was also a nice driver 65 4 speed convert which had me drooling. Wish I had kept mine now.... :violent1:

Pictures? Anyone?
Hello???

Glad you guys didn't get rained out. Up here in Michigan, it was ugly and looked like it was headed across northern Ohio. We had 5" in 24 hours. That would put a "damper" (pun intended) on a car show!
Cheers!

Also thanks for all the kind words on the car .so many great cars and better people .I am not a show guy... I go to Race I have a TSM turbo car that runs mid 9s. With the race a wash out I cant remember in the last almost 20 years ever having a better time. Everyone in my family couldn't believe how much fun the event was without a race.I for one Drove my show car home in the pouring rain with a gimpy wheel for 4 hours and just listened to the motor roar and the tiny windshield wipers....loved it !!!I have almost 1500 miles on it now and watched it turn over 45000 on the ride back
