I'm house bound with the crud that is going around, so I am surfing the net while being bored and ran across engine mounts on Ebay that claim to fit 1965 Grand Sports (sic). Anybody know if these will really work?

The mounts listed will not work on a 65 GS. As far as I know, GS mounts are not available in the aftermarket. What I had to do, like many others, was to have my originals re-vulcanized. They came out great, work fine and looked like new.

Those mounts will only fit the 300 and 340V8 engines. Not even close to what fits the 401.

I thought it looked to good to be true. Vulcanizing it is then. Thanks!

Just received my revulcanized set from Steele. Look like new and I was very happy with the service.

They look a lot like the 400/455 mounts for a 67 GS.

O'Reillys has the Anchor #2291 listed as fitting most 400, 430, and 455 applications '67-up, but not '67 or '69 Skylark. I believe '67 GS was a unique mount?
I've never seen an aftermarket '65'66 GS mount. Pretty sure it's been a dealer-only item since day one. A Chevy 2142 will work, but it's a 3 hole base instead of 4 hole, so the GS adapter will need a hole drilled and tapped.
I had 2 sets done by Steele a few years ago. Took less than 2 weeks and cost was around $85 a pair.
