That just looks like it would be a lot of fun on the Power Tour!

Future plan is to install a 200R4.Keep the R's down on the highway is always a good thing.

What's the horsepower? What's the cam? What's the compression ratio? What's the dynamic compression ratio? Go ahead and spill da' beans man! . . . . :laughing7:

My wagon's engine might bear a similarity to the engine in your 1965 Buick!

Looks like there's a substantial amount of torque doing some serious lifting there.
-
Dear Got_Tork, Glenn, Kevin, and owners of mid-60s Buicks that "got torque". . . .

Okay, okay, I believe that you've "got torque!" :glasses9:
So how did you do the cowl induction scoop? Was that a fiberglass hood or did you manage to "fab" that in steel?
Cheers, Edouard

Dear Mark, Tork, and mid-60s Buick fans of Torque!
Tony S. doesn't post a lot of pics, but this is his machine.
Hmm, that does strongly resemble a FAST EZ-EFI 1.0 electronic fuel injection system! I was glad to have one at the time, but I'm definitely sold on laptop adjustable EFI systems now.

Well, you did a great job bolting it on so that the hood looks clean and like cowl belongs there!

I was going to ask you if it was Peter! I actually saw him about a dozen years ago, he's got a blues band now. It was cool seeing him after watching his show when I was a kid!
Anyway, welcome to the site! You've done a nice build there. Gotta appreciate a car that launches as well as yours does.
I've raced my blue 66 GS a bunch but it's been about 20 years since my last pass..... 13.41 @ 102mph with a Nailhead.
