So I'm considering building custom LED taillights for the Sport Wagon. These will be panel lights, not a simple Led BULB INSTALL
Wow there is a lot to learn. I've watched a number of YouTube and specific videos so far.
I also am starting to find suppliers for the necessary parts involved to make this project happen. Actual $$ for pieces doesn't look too bad but looks fairly time consuming to build. Time should tell.
Oh well, being I'm in recovery mode, looks like I will have some less physically demanding time on my hands. lol
Hopefully I can figure this out and come up with a cool light setup.

Dear Loren and mid-60s Buick "long-roof" fans,

Ooh!! I've been dreaming about doing this for years! I had thought about trying to adapt some LED panel lights intended for some other make/model of car, but that's about as far as I got. If you get serious about doing this, would you consider making a second set for my trusty wagon? Name your price!
Whether you are willing to make me a set or not, please do document what you discover. I'm sure this is the sort of project that would be very interesting to folks on this board!
Cheers, Edouard

Edouard,
This is still in the research stage at this time. When I get this figured out, YES I would certainly make a second set for you.
The first go around will be the most time consuming, I think.
