Title: Glass Moulding Clips
Post by: Mark Ascher on February 09, 2011, 01:20:42 PM
I need some help with the windshield & back window moulding clips. I can find the proper clips for the rear glass, but no one seems to list the windshield clips. Are the front & back the same? I know there are some on the front that screw in, not the stud type.

Help! Thanks!

Front and back are the same except for the ones that screw in up the A-pillars.  I think I got them from Restoration Specialties Inc.    They always have a tent set up at the charlotte Autofair.

Mark,

Original Parts Group has windshield molding clips. I think the style you are looking for (the post kind, not the screw in kind) is part #191400.

John,

I was on the OPG website today. Along with a number of others. I'm looking at Ground Up's site now. This is what they have:

Mark,

It looks to be correct for the front windshield clips. It also includes the clips for the A pillar which require screws. I can't say about the rear window as I've only worked on convertibles. I do have some of the original clips that I can send to you, but you'd probably rather have new ones ;-).
