Are the rubber engine mount to adapter plate bolts suppose to all be the same length and head markings ?
The ones I have that came out are 3 different lengths and have 3 different markings on the heads .
Guess this is one of the problems of buying a car that is incomplete and trying to put it back together correctly .

Hi John,
On my restoration all the bolts for the motor mounts to the cast iron adapter plates were the same, 3/8 x 3/4. The bolts mounting the cast iron adapter plate to the engine block were 3/8 x 1 5/8. All the head markings were the same for each type of bolt.
Now I can't be sure that these were the originals, so this isn't necessarily correct. But it's what went into my restoration. And they fit. :-)
Pictures attached.

Thanks Chuck ,
I believe my ( RBW marked ) bolts are correct then for the mounts to adapter plate as there were 6 of them that were 3/8 x 3/4 inch long .
I,ll just use some 1 5/8 bolts I have laying around for the adapter plate to block . I think I may even have some marked RSC like the one in your photo .

John,
I recall those bolts being a mixed bag of head markings. I'll check later...

Thanks Mark ,
Was just wondering also , what length bolts hold on the p/s bracket and alt brackets on . I see they are attached to the adapter plate .

John,
See attached. Looking for the page with the accessory brackets.

John,
I did have one batch of hardware plated through a friends workplace and only have a couple of bad photos of that batch.
No documentation on what went where. I recall bagging them with the right parts by memory when they were returned.

While on the subject of fasteners, what are the correct fasteners for the horn relay to the inner fender? Mine came with none......
I'm away from home now and can check my red car when I return, but thought you guys might have that documented.
Thanks,
Chuck

Chuck,
Sorry these are all drawings. Did all the plating pre-digital photography.

Thanks Mark. Do I get the diameter and length by measuring the drawing? Should it be to scale?

Chuck,
The drawing is to scale, but don't know about the image.
Self tapper.
1 1/4 long.
3/8 hex.

Looks like I need to correct the bolt size for the Horn Relay Junction Block for the 65 GS. 3/8" diameter sounded too large to me, so after arriving home today, I took one from my red Steve Shuman car. It is a hex washer head, 1/4 - 14 self tapping screw and length is 3/4". This correlates well with the ones from my 65 Skylark parts car which are the same, except only 1/2" long. That horn relay is mounted on a thin steel plate instead of the thick bakelite mounting plate on the one for our GS's so the length differential makes sense
Adding them to the order I'm putting together for AMK.
