Title: Fuel line Routing
Post by: freddie.zee65 on February 14, 2014, 07:45:54 AM
Does anyone have any good pics or diagrams on where exactly the fuel line runs on my GS? Possibly someone who has done a body off resto has some decent pics of this routing. If so - please send to freddie.zee65@gmail.com

Thanks,
FreddieZee

I have done some searches and this has been asked before but never really been answered.

Here are some pics of my 66. No A/C return lines on this car.
Starting at the rear crossmember:

The '66 GS lines are routed exactly like my '65 GS. Walt, thanks for posting the photos.

Glad to help!
I prefer posting the pics here, it helps more people, and it's a way of preserving some of the stuff I've researched and learned.
The clips were painted with IES zinc chromate primer which I bought at the local auto-body supply store.
Fuel line was from 'The Right Stuff'. I sent them my original and they copied it.
Brake line I made myself using a 25' roll of tubing from NAPA and fittings/spiral covering from one of the repo houses. Brake line was bent to copy the original. Stock lines don't fit real well, kinda wish I just bent mine for the best fit, instead of just like original. I mean, really, are car show judges gonna even notice???
