I'm still looking for a 65 GS in driver condition. Thank you to those have have sent me some leads already, all are much appreciated!

Took one of the 66's for a cruise today. I am narrowing down the search for a 65 and expect to have one here by mid May if not sooner. Once I have a car home I will have some spare time as I have been searching and leaving no stones unturned. Color I will likely wind up with: white, blue, or champaign mist.

Well, after looking at many cars in person and on line as well as having friends look at cars that were far away, there should be a 65 GS "in the house" this week yet! Thank you to Dan A., Loren, John E., Dan S, Milton, and others for their help, advice, and leads during the search process! (including the advice of "go take a cold shower") from one of you! All was appreciated. Glad I finally got to meet several of you too at Rob's party. We are looking forward to getting our new car home!

Well, the car is home. Dan had it all cleaned up and ready to go this morning and it made the 6 hour drive flawlessly. I do have some things to sort out yet and some tinkering but it's home and parked with the 66's.

Got its first taste of Holiday non oxy Premium on the way home, and loved it!

The car has some great bones. Loren found it in the Bugle and I bought it after a test drive. Only needed some detailing and TLC to be in really nice shape. Jim drove to Green Bay on Thursday, May 14 to look it over and take a test drive. Needless to say he liked it.

Thanks guys! We plan to enjoy the car for years to come. I have it in the shop now getting the lights worked on and putting in the new springs and starter. Also trying to decide on some new wheels. :occasion14:
