I picked this up a few years ago. It's waiting its turn while I finish up some 66 GS projects.
A lead from fellow Buick bud Dan K led me to a 4spd trans on eBay. When I inquired about the complete car, the seller did say it was available! I made a $1500 offer, sight unseen, which he accepted.
Then I went to see what I bought.... ???

The right side looked a little better: :-\

The original chassis was disassembled already, so I dropped the body onto a spare chassis I had:

Home at last....it's lookin like a real car at this point! ;D

Exterior is Verde Green, interior is Saddle.

Even tho the car was disassembled, it was remarkably complete! MIA were the front lower control arms, springs, driveshaft, and shift handle.
Found a GTO drivshaft and GS shifter on eBay, still looking for some nice upper front control arms.
Engine and trans are numbers-matching, rear appears to be the original 3.36 posi!
A pile of new parts and replated bumpers came with the car for an additional $800.
Cars like this are a rare find nowadays. But I bet there are more out there than we realize.....this car is just one of example of those 'I'm going to restore it someday' projects that have been sitting for a decade or two... I was very fortunate to find it and save it from having it's parts scattered across the country thru eBay ;D

I have multiple sets of '65 upper control arms in my storage barn in VA. It will be awhile before I go up there again, but I will be glad to set you up with a set. All are off of NC/VA cars.
