Title: Was 4453 carb original on 65 GS?

We're trying to find out what this carb was originally intended for.
Most listings show it for 65 GS 400. Some sites even list it for 1966.
Was it ever originally installed on a 65? or maybe is was a service replacement?  Thanks.
