Update: after a few minor repairs and adjustments i have found this to be a very solid car that runs extremely well and has plenty of power. the secondaries are useless when in first gear at any speed. the 255/60/15 tires just want to go up in smoke. only rust found in the car is a few small holes in drivers floor pan from when window was left open in wrecking yard many years ago.

Nice!  You got a good car that just needed a little attention.
What are your plans for it? Drive it while restoring it, or go all out?

well since it's not the original motor i can do pretty much anything i want without feeling bad. i see a very easy way of turbo charging this engine using stock Riv exhaust manifolds... more to come.......
