A 10,000 rpm tach would not be period correct..... yes there were headers, mostly Mickey Thompsons and it seems like I remember Thorley making tri- wyes.....headers were expensive back then.... none were coated, some were flame sprayed with alluminum or nickel..... once ina while some body would chrome a set but they would not hold up if you drove the car ......but far and away flame spraying was the most popular.....besides the poor boy method of ''missippi chrome''..... ;D
All tachs were 8,000 rpms back then..... there were no shift lights nor ''memory'' tachs... just a simple shift point pointer,,, some even painted the shift point on their tachs or put a thin line of tape.... almost all had the usual oil pressure and water temp gages.... ;D ;D
