Harmonic Balancer Rebuilding
« on: July 29, 2011, 10:09:05 PM »
In the machine shop today and brought in the dampener and after looking it over and discussing with my machinist I believe I'll try to have this thing rebuilt. The rubber looks hard and small pieces have broken away as well. I see a couple companies offering this service, and I'm sure there are more:

Any experience out there with this process or have some recommendations?

'Damper Dudes' comes to mind.   Best to check with Tom Telesco (Telriv). He'll give you a recommendation.
