chrome cap that holds front seat back on ?

I'm having a problem with the little chrome cap popping of that holds the front seat back on the stud that sticks thru the hockey stick . Anyone else have an issue with this ?
Ive noticed the caps are not near the quality that they use to be . normally ya can't even get them off without wrecking them and these new ones you can pull off with a pliers without any effort at all .

I have had the same issue with those caps. My solution is to use a 12-point socket with an extension that fits the shoulder of the cap so I can give it a good bang with a hammer.

I agree. I also ordered an extra set of caps and found some fit better than others.

  Also, a little dab of Black Silicone inside the cap will hold it on. It worked for me...
