standard 65 GS steel wheels
« on: January 11, 2010, 02:11:14 PM »
If a 65 GS was ordered with the standard steel wheels and spinner hubcaps, did it come with the 5" wide rims or the 6" wide rims?   I know my '66 Skylark was ordered special with the 7.75-14 tires on it, so it came with the 6" wide rims instead of the 5".   If I remember right, all the '65 GS cars came standard with the 7.75-14 tires.  Does that mean they had the 6" rims?

It was the 6" wheels that came on the GS.
