If that were a chevelle SS, it would probably be thought of as a great deal. Better car for less money.
It's this fact that makes our cars so much more special, in my opinion. My f-in-law has a 65 Chevelle convertible. It's not an SS, has a later model 350 and 4 speed, no power options at all. It's full of bondo, has a $500 Earl Scheib paint job. When we park next to each other at a car gathering, people walk right by my car to look at his. But, the comments are "OOOH, look, it's blue", or "nice seats", or something like that. The people that stop to examine my car are people that appreciate what it is, and how rare it is. Oh, and he paid $25,000 for the Chevelle!
