Dear Iain and 65GS.com faithful,

Hope everyone is doing all right for now...

Never mind that!  How's Ruthy doing? . . .

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

No such luck here, Bill. Cheapest gas nearby is still 2.79. literally, dozens of full tankers of crude sitting off the Ca coast. Go figure.
However, Ruthy is running great! Starting a little project to fix up the good insulation with a new coat of black paint.

Paid $2.54 for premium yesterday here in SoCal, regular was $2.19.  This was at Costco, and no lines to boot!!! Never thought I'd see gas prices this low here in California in my lifetime. Of course, comes at a time when none of us are buying gas.....

Had the GS (Bianca is her name) out for a bit of a drive around yesterday afternoon, was good to have her back on the road after replacing the starter (thanks, Mr. Telesco!!) and also doing some regular maintenance. Had someone color sand and polish the paint while it was being stored at my father-in-laws "Man Cave". Can't believe how good it looks now, should have done that years ago. No more orange peel, paint looks like glass!

Dear Bill, Iain, Keith, and mid-60s Buick caregivers,

Glad to hear that Ruthy and Bianca are doing well.  Of course, there is nothing like a few pictures to allow the rest of us to enjoy how nice these classic ladies look!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:
