Steering Column Rebuild

Has anyone rebuilt there non tilt steering column?Is there parts source for what Is needed there is something loose in mine and would like to rebuild if possible.

There are two types of turn signal switches that were used. You must get the correct one and I do not recommend repop switches,but a lot of guys use them. I prefer an nos switch because it houses the upper bearing that usually causes the problem. The other cause could be as simple as an aftermarket steering wheel or improperly installed factory wheel. There is supposed to be spring pressure on the bearing which is adjusted on the lower shaft by the steering box. The lower bearing is also a problem sometimes. There is a decent repop on that part. You do not need to remove the column from the car in many cases.
