My Dad's GS

This is a picture of my Dad's GS back in 1965, this was the car I learned how to drive.  I will never forget that experience, I live it every time I drive mine.

Dear Tom and mid-60s Buick owners who go way back!

This is a picture of my Dad's GS back in 1965, this was the car I learned how to drive.  I will never forget that experience, I live it every time I drive mine.

Thanks for sharing!  :hello2:

I'm a bit luckier than you.  I still have the same car I learned to drive in!  :angel4: Alas, still can't drive it at the moment.  :sad1:

Cheers, Edouard

This is awesome.

I learned to drive in a 1967 Plymouth Valiant with a Slant Six and an automatic. My dad still has the car, but it is not currently running.

Cool.  My wife learned to drive in my 65GS convert.  Too many years in an automatic to drive it now.  Which is fine by me.....
