Hi Everyone, Working on rebuilding this GS has given me lots of pleasure and just about as much aggravation but I will not let it get to me, almost every part has tested my patience and its good that I have a lot of it. I must have solved 100 problems so far, today I came across problem 101. I removed all the aluminum molding around the doors and A pillar because I had rust creeping out from underneath the molding. There is surface rust that needs to be dealt with but that's not the problem. it seems that the A pillar in not factory finished like the thin pillar Special, I'm not going to replace the aluminum molding. So now I have an factory unfinished part to deal with. the Question is, is the Special A pillar a different pillar or is it a cap over what I have ? No one around here has a pillar coupe so I can't compare. If its a cap then I have the skill to Mig one on. if its not then I'm open to suggestions...
Also I have about 10 of those aluminum molding parts and clips that I removed that I do not want. If anyone wants them just pay whatever it is for shipping and its yours, I need the space.. Thanks.
