  Thanks Chuck for taking the torch and keeping the get together going.  Wish we could have made it also.  Too many things going and coming up. 

Looks like the Verde Howitzer was originally scheduled to not have a white top.  Neat thing to find.

That picture that Kevin posted wasn't the Verde Howitzer, it was the Arkansas parts car firewall.  The Verde Howitzer came from the factory with Arctic White exterior, Black interior and Black convertible top.  I think that's a pretty boring color palette and I know John E. agrees! 

Good to keep the meet going and had a ball doing it.  Time will tell in which state the next Northwest Ohio Get Together is held

Regarding the firewall markings, it appears that they were ignored.  The markings read: "Change top to White".  And there is a big "R-1" (Flame Red with White top) marked as well.  The trim tag shows Paint Code R-2 (Flame Red with black top).  But we're sure the vinyl top we peeled off was original and it was Black.  So much for the apparent attempt at last minute change on the line!

And, so much for assuming that these cars came off the line as their Trim Tags report!
