I have been (still) trying to shop my lenses around to the major restoration catalogs. As it turns out, The Parts Place is in the process of making their own '65 Skylark front turn signal lenses.

Sorry to hear that.  I suppose they weren't interesting in collaborating.  Unfortunately, competition does cause a lot of duplicated effort.  It is sad to see how businesses end up reinventing the wheel over and over.

P.S. Perhaps you will have better success pitching your lenses to the parts place competitors now that there someone trying to produce these lenses.  Perhaps you can turn this lemon into lemonade.

Sorry to hear that Dan, it seems parts place did something similar to Mike Garrison if I remember correctly.

To bad, they should try making a hood ornament. I purchased the lens and they are great!
