Hemmings referenced article - forum's on life support?
« on: August 06, 2017, 09:33:29 AM »
Dear mid-60s Buick owners who depend on forums for information,

The Hemming blog included a link to this piece:  Forums Are On Life Support, Won’t Someone Think Of The Build Threads?

http://www.stanceiseverything.com/2017/08/forums-are-on-life-support-wont-someone-think-of-the-build-threads/

I refuse to use most of the newer social medias, so I can't judge their effect on forums.  I do agree that being able to use services like Photobucket really helps the quality of forum postings.  I use SmugMug precisely because it allows me to do this and I'm willing to pay their modest fee to do so.

65GS.com seems to be in a revival that bucks this trend, but there is definitely some food for thought in this editorial.

Cheers, Edouard
