That is cute.  I made this one a while back for Dan A.
Thought since no one seems interested in using the original caps, It would be a good use of one.

Interesting! I have a Challenger hubcap clock I received as a gift for letting people use my cars in a wedding.

Interesting piece.  Would probably look better than my "Busted Knuckles" clock.  But then again, it still works and describes how I work!

I like that clock.
There is still a piece of me that wants to go back to the 14" wheels with those caps though.

     Well if anyone wants to make clocks out of those wheel covers I have plenty !!! I have 9 that are in daily driver condition and then I have 4 that are factory AFA.. which means that they were removed from a New Skylark at the dealership when the new owner complained that it was blemished in some way. The dealership replaced it with a new one and it was charged back to GM. Then the blemished wheel cover was thrown on a shelf and forgotten until it was thrown out or sold to a old inventory parts dealer or one of us rescued it... The 4 have a small push in dent on each one from a rubber hammer but the rest of it is super new condition. I don't need them they are just taking up precious space in my parts room. I'm asking $50 plus shipping for the set. And I'm asking $40 plus shipping for the 9 in driver condition...
    All monies other than shipping will be donated to 65GS.com to keep this great website running so we can All share information.

           I don't have my camera with me tonight but if you want me to post photos just let me know and I can post them another night..
