For Edouard.....
« on: February 06, 2017, 12:19:35 AM »
As I was touring Manly, Australia today, I ran across Biquette’s cousin parked in the street.  She's a bit younger than Biquette, I believe born in 1977.  A classic, nonetheless; a GM Holden Kingswood SL longroof.  And I naturally thought of our resident wagon lover.  So Edouard, this one's for you!

Cheers, Mates!

Dear Chuck and GM longroof fans,

As I was touring Manly, Australia today, I ran across Biquette’s cousin parked in the street.  She's a bit younger than Biquette, I believe born in 1977.  A classic, nonetheless; a GM Holden Kingswood SL longroof.  And I naturally thought of our resident wagon lover.  So Edouard, this one's for you!

A really cute wagon!  It looks more like a midsize by American standards, but it was the Holden full-sized platform of the time.  Here is the Wikipedia article on Holden line:

This wagon is especially attractive in its two-tone blue.  Although it does make it look just a tad playful and immature!

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:
