Dear mid-60s Buick owners with a taste for the sea,

Someone on V-8 Buick found this on eBay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Stevens-SK-Flat-Bottom-Drag-Jet-Boat-1963-Buick-401-Nailhead-Motor/222723649439

. . . So what are you guys waiting for!  How many boats have you seen with a Nailhead! . . . . .

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

That's kind of cool.  I've seen a good amount of marine nailhead parts out there lately.

Dear Loren and mid-60s Buick owners with a weakness for marine technology,

That's kind of cool.  I've seen a good amount of marine nailhead parts out there lately.

Well according to the 1965 Buick engine brochure that Chuck posted a while back:

http://65gs.com/board/index.php?topic=3372.msg23489#msg23489

Buick was trying to encourage boat builders to adopt the Nailhead as a power-plant.  Perhaps they were more successful than we realized!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

That would be sooooo cool to have behind a 65 GS.  :headbang:  But I think it needs a blower on the boat to make the look complete.
