For me, this is always very cool to see. I've been in the injection molding/plastics industry since 1986. That tool looks like it's in good condition from the photo. Even a prototype mold can last a long time making short runs. Looks like it runs in a 90-100 ton machine, especially since the material is PC. I'm assuming you had this built domestically. Overseas tools were considerably cheaper but your IP will definitely be compromised. These days though things are turning around with shipping costs, delays, power outages, etc. it makes sense to build even production tools domestically or in places like Canada or Portugal.
