Retired from a part job with not much benefit and wife retired from a full time job(she somehow worked 50 hours last week though at a part time job)...we figure with the current state of our situation we should be retired fully about three seconds after they close the lid on us......lol....can't really complain.

I'm still slugging away making $$$$$$ for the man, but not so much for me. :icon_biggrin:  :angry5: Have hopes of slowing down in 4-5 years. That plan depends on how much I can save between now and then plus how many cars I buy during that time. :dontknow:  :icon_scratch:

I'm figuring I have another 30 years of banging and spraying cars. That would put me at 66 for retiring.

God willing, me too! That would put me at 84.

I definitely plan to retire early, another 4 years at the most, maybe sooner. Still have goals to accomplish at my workplace before I leave.
A job does have the benefits of healthcare and spend money, but the time commitment makes me question whether it's worth it. LOTS of things I'd rather be doing!

Gorgeous day out there today, expected high of 65 degrees. Heading out to clean up the mess I made this week by taking down a rotted old Ash tree. Counted over 80 rings on one of the main branches, bet it's over 100 years old.
Will head into the garage later, have a beer and putz around till sundown.
Looking forward to the day I can do this everyday without a job getting in the way!
