A CACHE OF '65GS PARTS

I have been working with someone for the last three days sorting & taking pictures of parts that he had been collecting for years to restore his '65GS. Believe me he has a garage full plus other areas where he stored parts. We have AT LEAST another week of sorting, taking pictures, etc. He owned the car for about 20 or so yrs. & collecting these parts & restoring while he was using it also. Originally he was going to race the car so he pulled the original drivetrain, engine, trans., rear & stored them away & built all new pieces just in case he wanted to put it back to original.
Well about five yrs. ago the car was stolen. He has been hoping that it will show up one day, or another, so he could could continue on. Well, life being the way it is sometimes his health won't allow him to do this any longer so there's a cache of parts, ALL, that will be for sale. Many are used but in good condition. Like 7 complete tailight assembly's among MANY NOS parts. Like headlight bezels. An almost new '65GS grille with NO pitting that I could see, original paint & the GS emblem has NEVER been off.
I will try to post pics as we go along. Some of the parts will be VERY reasonable because of condition, like $5.00. Others will be MUCH MORE costly like the NOS bezels & the almost new condition grille, like $500.00, etc.
They will be offered here 1st. before going off to E-Bay.

BTW, I am interested in the grille.

And I'm interested in a nice set of tail light housings and cross bars.  Also rocker moldings and fan shroud.

I am in Ct. so everything will be coming from myself. I don't know the best way of doing this so ALL will get a chance to kinda bid???  I just what to do the best I can for him & maybe??? make a couple $$$ along the way for myself & the time it takes to do so with packing, shipping etc. I know this will be a time consuming thing, especially for me. Running back & forth to locations, etc. He NOR I are looking to make a "Killing" just get these parts out to those that are in dire need to complete a restoration or to make what they have even better.

Sad story though. What was the car that was stolen?

That narrows it down to about 1 in 9,000!
What color was it? Have a serial number? Maybe it or it's parts  have already surfaced somewhere.
