trying to order seat covers

If you talk to someone with a clue...get their name. I will be in the same boat soon. It seems that incompetence is the new norm,and if it is not on a computer screen it must not exist. I was told that they are easier to buy from through a dealer but not sure myself. The Parts Place still lists a part number for repop arm rests,but if you ask them about them they act like you are crazy. I find it hard to believe you are having this much fun for a hardtop rear seat in black. That has to be the most popular trim in a 65 skylark. Good luck,Dan

Loren ,  what there telling me is, it,s not the difference between skylark or GS .
 they are telling me the black was,t offered in the hard top ,  just the post cars and convertibles .
Also the skylark does not have the buttons on the back .
I,m calling again today and hope to get it figured out . I,m going to see if they will change their  order form on their web site also so that no one else has this problem .

Skylark and Skylark GS have the same interior. I don't know where he told me he is getting that information,
but what you sent him should have been enough to change that. I agree with Dan, black had to be one of the
top three color interiors for 65 Skylark, as with a lot of other GM A bodies.

Let us know what happens.

Just got off the phone with Corey and he said they are changing their info today so that we will be able to order online and receive there internet discount . ( when offered )
He said sending my trim tag and some info. that I sent him ( which Dan A. sent me ) really helped solidify things .
We talked quite awhile and everything is a go . 
He even started talking the silver headliner material ,( which my car has )  I stopped him and said wait minute Corey lets get the seat thing done first . LOL

Great news! Not to take anything away from Legendary, but the headliner in the correct silver metallic can be ordered from SMS.
They will make the headliner, and Premier can install it. Don't forget door panels - LOL
Premier can also recover the rear arm rests with black madrid.

Door panels ? I  Might  have premier look at my originals and see what they think about making them .
From what i,m reading and or hearing the repros are a little off ????

Sounds good!
The door panels are little off, actually dimensionally slightly small height and width (1/8 - 3/16), but they look really good and will work.
They have dielectric seams, so I don't think that Premier can duplicate that. You'll need to get a decent set of the chrome trim for the panels,
and the door panel "birds." That can all be sent to Legendary and they will assemble them.

Don't forget about visors and sail panels - SMS can send you extra material for that.

Just to update the status on the seat covers , I talked with Corey again and he was very helpful on getting their online catalog updated .
He even gave me their 25% discount for being patient and working with him .
He told me to tell anyone that needs to order these to ask for him if they have any problems .
His name is Corey and his ext. is  212 .

I received my new OPG catalog today and they list 1965 GS hardtop in black, but it's PUI. I see they are made in the USA!
