Interesting read, discusses today's fuels in older carbureted engines. Helps one understand some of today's tuning and drive-ability issues.

Dear Rollaround and mid-60s Buick caregivers,

Interesting read, discusses today's fuels in older carbureted engines. Helps one understand some of today's tuning and drive-ability issues.

Thanks for sharing the link.  I was aware of some of the problems mentioned but not all of them.  I wasn't aware of the effect of old premium for example.  This is an item I'll have to deal with soon in the case of my trusty wagon.  Definitely a good read for anyone with a classic.

Cheers, Edouard
