BUMAD (2 door 1965 Gran Sport Wagon) For Sale
« on: May 07, 2014, 07:37:03 PM »
Back in 2009 while attending the Back To The 50's car show in St Paul, MN I ran across a spectacular custom car - the BUMAD as called by its owner and creator Warren Long. See first two pictures. Somewhere along the line it was said that the car had been for sale on eBay but had not sold. Got a bug and posted an inquiry on the AACA Buick forums asking if anyone had information about the owner and/or the cars' whereabouts. Who should respond but our own Loren Alexander. He had seen the car at the 2009 BCA Nationals in Colorado. See last three pictures. He had saved the information he got and provided the owners name and I researched how to get in touch with him.
Got to talking with Loren at the Buick Show in St Paul about the car, its story and its value. Top notch creation. Built with 5 cars. Has a supercharged 3.8 liter engine. 700R4 4 speed overdrive transmission. Sweet car.
Warren wants to sell the car. His asking price is $35,000. If you have an interest please PM me and I will provide you his phone number, etc. Have to act quick as he is considering selling it via auction later this summer.

OK Loren, just HOW would you go about it ? Inquisitive minds want to know.

Good memory Al. It was on the show. Copy of article from the Buick Bugle with more information.
