Build sheet location if any ?
« on: March 10, 2015, 08:51:47 PM »
Hey guys , does anyone know if or where they would have put a build sheet on these cars ?
I know on GM cars I have done in the past they were either under the back seat , in between the gas tank and trunk pan or inside the passenger side door panel .
Are those the legit spots on a 65 GS ?

Thanks John

The rear seat springs and on top of the gas tank is where I've found at least two.

I've also heard under the dash above the glove box liner.

Thanks guys . As I keep disassembling the car I'm hoping just by chance I'll find something .
As much as this car has been messed with some areas seemed to have been untouched .
The door panels are actually in really nice shape considering how old the car is and don't look like they have ever been off. Even the glove box is still there .

I found two in my 65 Special that was built in Kansas. They where behind the inner fenders near the firewall, one on each side, been there for almost fifty years and they where in fair condition.

My 66 Gs convert was under the carpet tucked under the wiring harness. She's a Fremont car.
