my 1965 wildcat floor shift and linkage
« on: August 07, 2017, 06:38:12 PM »
Hi everyone. I am new to this site. I have a customers 1965 Buick Wildcat bench seat car automatic, he wants me to put bucket seats and console in it and I don't think he has the right linkage for it. He has the console, shifter, a long linkage rod and a short linkage rod. Is there something missing to connect them. Is there any diagram or can someone tell me how this hooks up. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question, but I see this was your first posting here so . . . . .

Welcome !

Pictures of what you have on hand would help.  Ted would be able to field this question.

There is a bracket that bolts to the bottom of the car and has a pivot - long link to one end  short to the other.
I used to have one but sold to Bill Mizell ...whose cars are for sale in the Bugle this month.
Cheers,
Ted
