65 gs post car wanted

I am looking for a 65 gs post car.  Would like 4 speed and power steering.  A/C would be nice, but not necessary.  I am located in NC.

Hey Brian,

This is John Crouse (from IR) in Mooresville.  Ever since I sold my 70 GSX clone a few years ago to help pay for son's college, I have really missed it.  I would like to sell my 63 Studebaker Avanti, and go back to Buick.  My dad always had Buicks, including a 65 post, a 68 GS400 convertible, and a 71 Stage 1 hardtop (all were 4 speeds).

I was suspicious it was you John!   I have a '65 GS 2dr. HT 4speed car in my garage in Mocksville.  It isn't for sale, but if you ever want to stop by I will get it out, take it out for a ride, and talk Buicks for awhile.  I am only 1 mile off of I-40.

Dan,

Thanks for the heads-up.  I watched that car go through previously.  Bidding ended at $ 12,400, with reserve not met.  Now I see a Buy It Now price of $ 13,000.  It has the options I want, except for the post, but I have a hard time buying anything without looking at it first.  I might have to take a trip up there on Sat.

i have a 65 gs factory 4speed (thin post) ride- drive ,very solid body for sale ,the bad part is that the nail head is out of it and has a sbchevy motor if interested and would like to see pictures go to racingjunk.com ad#2543150 and/or call scott @423-292-3947 thanks
